The frequency of the Sealdah-Bhubaneswar-Sealdah Tri-Weekly Express Special has been reduced to twice a week with effect from July 13, according to an East Coast Railway (ECoR) notification issued on Thursday.
The Tri-Weekly Special (No. 02201) will now run on Monday and Friday from Sealdah and on Tuesday and Saturday (No. 02202) from Bhubaneswar.
Previously, the corresponding services were on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Sealdah, and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from Bhubaneswar.
Eastern Railway decided to reduce the frequency of service due to poor occupancy of the trains, stated the ECoR release.
