Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Tuesday granted conditional bail to real estate broker Subhankar Nayak, an accused in the Seashore chit fund fraud.
He has been asked to furnish two sureties of Rs 2 lakh each and another Rs 5 lakh cash surety or property surety. Besides barring Nayak from travelling outside the state, the court warned him against influencing witnesses in the case.
The CBI had arrested Nayak on November 18, 2014, following a raid on his house at Kharvel Nagar in Bhubaneswar. He had allegedly acted as the middleman between Seashore Group and senior bureaucrats.
