Paralakhemundi: After six more corona positive cases were detected in Gajapati district on Monday, the administration imposed prohibitory orders at all temporary medical camps (TMCs) and quarantine centres.
Stating that Section 144 was imposed to prevent spread of coronavirus and keep intrusion by the locals, the administration said the area within 100 metre radius of the facilities will remain inadmissible by unauthorised persons.
The administration has also directed the police and other officials to strictly implement the restrictions. Gajapati Collector Anupam Saha has warned of strong action against those violating the order.
With today’s cases, the district now has 10 corona positive patients. All of them are returnees from Maharashtra and have been accommodated in quarantine centres.
