Jagatsinghpur: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the district administration on Saturday clamped the prohibitory order under Section 144 in 15 temples to restrict the congregation of the devotees on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
In an order, district collector Saroj Kumar Mishra said the prohibitory order in the 15 temples will remain in force for three days till November 30.
The 15 temples where the order has been enforced are Madhuban Jagannath temple, Maa Sarala temple, Gada Kujang Jagannath temple, Grameswar temple, Sarabanta Jagannath temple, Sri Brundaban Bihari Jew, Garoi Jagannath temple, Nilakantheswar Mahadev temple, Chandapura Jagannath temple, Alana-II Jagannath temple, Dhyankud Jagannath temple, Muchkunda Mahadev temple, Gatanath Mahadev temple, Sidhala Jagannath temple and Sri Sri Gorekhnath Mahaprabhu temple.
