Sec 144 Clamped In Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur For Kartik Purnima

Paradip: In view of large congregation of people expected to throng Maa Sarala temple and other shrines in Jagatsinghpur, the district administration has decided to clamp Section 144 for three days.

Prohibitory order under Sec 144 at major shrines including Sarala Temple will remain in force for three days from November 17 to 19 to restrict congregation of devotees on the occasion of Kartik Purnima, stated reports.

Gathering of more than four people in and around temples  has been prohibited with an aim to check the spread of COVID-19.
