Puri: The Shree Jagannath temple will remain closed for four hours on November 26 and 27 due to the secret rituals of the Lords.
According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the Singhari sevayats will perform the Paitalagi rituals of the Lords on Monday which will begin from 5 pm and conclude at 9 pm. During the period, no devotees will be allowed inside the temple.
After the Paitalagi rituals, the sevayats will perform the Banakalagi rituals of the Lords on Tuesday which will begin from 5 pm and continue till 9 pm. No devotees will be allowed inside the temple during this time.
