Nayagarh: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday arrested secretary of a Cooperative Society in Nayagarh district while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000.
The accused has been identified as Pramod Kumar Dehury. He is the secretary of Dhipisahi Service Cooperative Society at Daspalla.
According to sources, he was caught red-handed by vigilance officers, Nayagarh Division, while accepting Rs 15,000 from a complainant, Ranjan Pradhan, to supply paddy seed and release paddy worth Rs 2,72,250.
