Bhubaneswar: Apprehending violation of social distancing guidelines during the Savitri Brata and Eid-ul-Fitr festivals, the district administrations have clamped Section 144 in the two Odisha districts of Jajpur and Jagatsinghpur.
According to sources, the prohibitory order has been clamped at Biraja temple in Jajpur district and all Hindu temple in Jagatsinghpur district. It will remain in force for the whole day on Friday on account of Savitri Brata.
Besides, the prohibitory order has been clamped in all mosques and darghas in Jagatsinghpur district and will remain in force from May 24 to 26.
