Puri: The Puri district administration lifted the prohibitory order under Section 144 clamped around the Jagannath temple here on Saturday.
The clampdown was imposed in accordance with social distancing norms to curb congregation of devotees at the temple on the occasion of Snana Purnima on Friday.
The prohibitory order had come into force from 10 pm on June 4.
