Rourkela: Alert security forces unearthed and defused 22 powerful landmines in a forest along Odisha–Jharkhand border on Monday.
A joint combing operation team of Jharkhand police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) came across the landmines in Goilkera forest along Odisha–Jharkhand border.
The security personnel immediately defused the landmines, saving precious lives of armed forces.
As per the information provided by Jharkhand police, search operations were intensified in the LWE-hit area after the recovery of the explosives.
