Bhubaneswar: The office building of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) had to be sanitized after a security guard tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
BDA authorities informed that the security guard, who was on duty near the gate of the Planning Section on the second floor of the building, had undergone COVID-19 test during an eye surgery at the Capital Hospital recently.
As his report was positive, the office premises was vacated on Friday afternoon and a sanitization drive conducted immediately.
The office building will remain closed till Sunday and members of the staff have been asked to join duty on Monday.
