Bhubaneswar: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to arrive in Odisha on a one-day visit this Saturday, the Commissionerate Police said security would be provided to him as per the rule books.
“Adequate security arrangements have been put in place along the route, the helipad at Naraj, the Baliyatra ground and vehicle parking areas. The security arrangements for the Prime Minister have been made as per the rule books,” Police Commission YB Khurania said.
He further said the Commissionerate Police had a discussion with Cuttack collector about the lighting arrangements, sanitation at the meeting venue and other measures to be taken up by the district administration.
As per the schedule, the Prime Minister will arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here at 3.25 pm in a special flight. From the airport, he will leave for Naraj in a special helicopter. From there, he will head for the Baliyatra ground at Gadagadia Ghat in Cuttack by road.
After addressing a public meeting, he will return to Bhubaneswar and leave for New Delhi at 5.55 pm.
