Nabarangpur: A youth went missing while taking a ‘selfie’ at Ghumareswar waterfall located in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district.
The youth, identified as Haribandhu Gouda of Koraput, went to visit the temple and tourist destination along with his two friends on Thursday, sources said.
After visiting the temple, he went near the waterfall and was taking a selfie when he reportedly slipped off from the top of the waterfall.
On getting information, fire services personnel from Tentulikhunti arrived at the spot and launched a search operation to trace Gouda, aged around 18 years.
A missing complaint was lodged at Tentulikhunti police station. Meanwhile, his friends also informed the family about the incident.
