Bhubaneswar: Selfies taken inside Jagannath Temple in Puri doing the rounds on social media have raised serious questions over security arrangements at the 12th century shrine.
Besides a few selfies by a youth, a FB post of a woman from West Bengal is creating ripples. Along with her selfie, she has uploaded a photo of the three deities on Ratna Singhasan inside Gundicha Temple. She apparently took those pictures during the annual sojourn of Jagannath and his siblings at the temple.
According to reports, the woman told her friends that she managed to sneak into the temple with her phone, which is strictly prohibited, and no one opposed her while she took the snaps.
Puri SP Sarthak Sarangi said they are investigating the matter.
