Angul: Senior Clerk of sub-collector office at Pallahara in Odisha’s Angul district, Sadhu Chatamba, was allegedly caught red-handed by vigilance sleuths while accepting Rs 2,000 bribe on Friday,
According to sources, Sadhu Chatamba demanded money from one Ghasiram Behera, who had sought permission from the administration to sell his property (SC/ST).
The entire bribe money was recovered from Chatamba. His residence is currently being searched.
