Puri: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids on the office and houses of Wildlife Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) of Puri Prashant Kumar Swain.
The raids were conducted following complaint that the ACF had properties disproportionate to his known sources of income. The Vigilance officials searched his office and rented house in Puri, residential house at Mahabhoi Sasana in Bhubaneswar, paternal house at Sisilo under Balianta police station in Khurda district and father-in-law’s house in Dhenkanal Station Bazaar.
The assessment of the forest officer’s assets would be made after completion of the raids which were continuing till the report was filed.
