Berhampur: Senior journalist Jaganmohan Mohapatra died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Berhampur around 11.30 am on Thursday. He was 57.
He was in-charge of Berhampur edition of ‘Sakala’,
Mohapatra started his career in journalism in 1990 after completing his PG in Journalism. He worked with various vernacular dailies, including Sambad and Nitidin.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
Mayor, journalists, and prominent personalities of Berhampur paid their last respect to Mohapatra at his residence here.
Rajya Sabha member from BJD Manas Mangaraj mourned his death through a Twitter post.
