Bhubaneswar: Senior photojournalist Aneel Prasad Mishra passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Odisha capital on Tuesday night. He was 63.
He founded Eastern Press Agency and was editor of EPA Weekly. He worked in several newspapers and was one of the senior-most photojournalists of Odisha. He mentored quite a few photojournalists. He had also set up the Biju Patnaik Photo gallery.
Mourning his death, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi expressed condolences to his family.
Mishra is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
