India’s most popular messaging app, WhatsApp is working on a new update that will show the recipient’s name while sending images. The name will appear below the caption.
The change is already visible on the Android version of WhatsApp Beta.
The feature will be available for images shared both on an individual or even group chats.
The company is also looking to take action on users involved in bulk messaging, stating that it is against its terms and conditions. They are looking at taking legal action against entities “engaged in or assisting others” in violating the terms and conditions.
