Bhubaneswar: In view of extra rush of the passengers during Navratri festival, the South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run two Navratri Special trains in Odisha from March 24.
While one train will run between Jharsuguda and Khurda Road, the other will ply between Bangriposi and Khurda Road.
08001 Jharsuguda–Khurda Road Special train will leave Jharsuguda at 5.45 pm on March 24 and reach Khurda Road at 5.20 am next day. In the return direction, the train will leave Khurda Road at 7 pm on March 25 and arrive at Jharsuguda at 7.50 am next day.
The train will have stoppages at Bagdehi, Bamra, Garposh, Rajgangpur, Rourkela, Bisra, Monoharpur, Goilkera, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa, Dangoaposi, Banspani, Kendujhargarh, Harichandanpur, Sukinda Road, Jakhapura, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar stations.
Similarly, 08003 Bangriposi–Khurda Road Special will leave Bangiposi at 9.30 pm on March 24 and reach Khurda Road at 4.35 am next day. In the return direction, it will leave Khurda Road at 12.50 am on March 26 and arrive at Bangriposi at 7.45 am the same day.
The Special train will have stoppages at Rajalukah, Bhanjpur, Baripada, Betnoti, Rupsa, Balasore, Soro, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Keonjhar Road, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar stations.
