Cuttack: The Millennium City saw an alleged drunk car driver causing a series of accidents in which several vehicles were damaged while many people sustained injuries last night.
According to sources, the driver rammed into cars at Barabati Stadium, Jobra and Chauliaganj areas of the city. Locals later chased him down to Rajendra Nagar area and thrashed him. Some vented their anger on the car.
On being informed, Madhupatna IIC and ACP along with a team reached the spot and managed to pacify the people.
The driver was then detained for questioning.
