Bhubaneswar: The online service facilities of the departments of the state government prioritized under 5T have been completed before the deadline of October 2.
Revealing this at a high-level review meeting on Friday, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy said the departments of Finance, Odia Language & Culture, Sports & Youth Services and Science & Technology have been made online ahead of the deadline set by the government.
He directed the departments to make use of the “bulk disbursement platform” of Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) for transferring necessary benefits under various welfare schemes.
Development Commissioner Suresh Chandra Mohapatra told the departments to utilise the online payment portal of Government taxes and dues developed by Finance department.
The department of Odia Language and Literature & Culture has made the booking of Mandapas online and is developing online data base of artists, singers, writers and poets.
The Sports and Youth Services department has already made services like pension to indigent sports persons, facility booking and issue of ID card, weight and age certificate online.
Similarly, public services like processing of pension application, creation of permanent retirement account number (PRAN), bulk disbursement platform for benefit transfer and payment of taxes and dues, GPF have become online under the Finance department.
Principal Secretary Finance Ashok Kumar Meena, Principal Secretary Odia Language, Literature & Culture Bishnupada Sethi, Principal Secretary Science & Technology Santosh Sarangi, Secretary Sports and Youth Services Vishal Kumar Dev, Secretary Textile, Handloom & Handicraft Shubha Sharma and senior officers were present.
