Baripada: State Revenue Minister and BJD’s Mayurbhanj district president Sudam Marndi has suspended seven party members of the Baripada municipality for anti-party activities.
Those suspended are Debasis Das, Sanjita Biswal, Bikash Barik, Jagabandhu Mukhi, Manoranjan Mukhi, Biswajit Sethi and Bibek Sethi.
The suspension came after a scuffle broke out between two groups of the BJD in front of the minister.
