Seven Contacts Of Surya Nagar’s COVID-19 Patient Test Positive

Bhubaneswar: Seven persons, who had come in close contact with the 6th COVID-19 patient of Surya Nagar in Bhubaneswar, have tested positive for the deadly virus.

They include his daughter, wife and tenants, the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted on Friday night.

Three brothers from Bomikhal area in the city had tested positive for coronavirus earlier in the day.

Of the total 20 cases so far detected in Odisha, 14 have been reported from Bhubaneswar and 10 among them on a single day.

The first two patients, who are also from the Odisha capital, have recovered and discharged from hospitals after treatment.
