Berhampur: At least seven women were critically injured when an auto rickshaw carrying them overturned on Kadalibada road in Ganjam district on Tuesday evening.
The injured persons were rescued and admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital.
According to a local resident, the driver of the vehicle lost control while negotiating a sharp turn over the wheels, causing it to overturn.
In a separate incident, a youth sustained injuries after his two-wheeler collided with a stationery truck at Khandagiri tourist bus stand in Bhubaneswar. He was rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.
