Jeypore: At least seven persons were injured after a tipper truck overturned on NH-24 near Tariniput Chhak under Sadar police limits here on Monday.
According to reports, the accident took place when the truck driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to save a motorcyclist. The truck overturned after hitting the two-wheeler.
Five women, Champo Muduli, Bimali Jani, Kabita Jani, Kabita Khila and Dika Muduli, travelling on the truck were injured. They were admitted to Jeypore hospital. Two persons, identified as Ajit Mundi and Ranjit Goud, riding the bike also sustained injuries in the mishap.
