Bhubaneswar: Sunday saw a sudden spike in COVID-19 cases in Odisha with seven persons testing positive for the virus.
With these new cases, the state’s total affected count has gone up to 68. With 24 persons having recovered from the infection and one death, the number of active cases is 43, the Health and Family Welfare sources said.
A total of 951 samples were tested on Sunday, the sources added.
The last case was reported from Balasore on April 18.
