Bhubaneswar: Seven new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the Capital city in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, one was from quarantine centers and six local contacts, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Of the total local cases, two cases were reported from the Palasuni area and one each from Laxmi Sagar, Badagada, Shastri Nagar, and Patia.
Eleven patients have been cured of the disease during the period.
A total of 31,899 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,445 have recovered. While 246 have succumbed to the disease, there are 187 active cases at present.
