Several Trains Cancelled, Partially Cancelled For Track Doubling Work In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Several trains have been cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted several trains for safety-related modernisation work in the Sambalpur division. The services will be affected on various routes for commissioning of doubling work between Deobahal-Bargarh-Barpali stations in Sambalpur-Titilagarh railway section, the ECoR said in a release on Monday.

Trains Cancelled

1. 08317/08318 Sambalpur-Junagarh Road-Sambalpur Passenger Special from Sambalpur between September 22 and 30 and from Junagarh Road between September 23 and October 1.

2. 08263/08264 Titilagarh-Bilaspur-Titilagarh Passenger Special from Titilagarh between September 23 and October 1 and from Bilaspur between September 22 and 30.

3. 08277/08278 Titilagarh-Raipur-Titilagarh Special from Titilagarh between September 22 and 30 and from Raipur between September 23 and October 1.

4. 18301/18302 Sambalpur-Rayagada-Sambalpur Express from both directions between September 23 and 30.

5. 20809/20810 Sambalpur-Nanded-Sambalpur Express from Sambalpur on September 23 and 25 and from Nanded on September 24 and 26.

6. 18189/18190 Tata-Ernakulam-Tata Express from Tata on September 25 and 29 and from Ernakulam on September 25 and 28.

Partially Cancelled

1. 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Super fast Inter City Express from both directions from September 23 to 30 will run between Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur and will remain cancelled between Sambalpur and Balangir.

2. 18005/18006 Howrah-Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Howrah from September 22 to 30 and from Jagadalpur from September 23 to October 1 will run between Howrah and Sambalpur and will remain cancelled between Sambalpur and Jagadalpur.

3. 12871&22861/12872&22862 Howrah-Titilagarh/Kantabanji Ispat Express from Howrah from September 23 to 30 and from Titilagarh/Kantabanji from September 24 to October 1 will run between Howrah and Sambalpur and will remain cancelled between Sambalpur and Titilagarh/Kantabanji.

Tambaram-Jasidih Express diverted

12375/12376 Tambaram-Jasidih-Tambaram Express from Tambaram on September 24 and from Jasidih on September 28 will run on diverted route via Vizianagaram-Khurda Road-Naraj-Angul and Sambalpur instead of Vizianagaram- Rayagada-Titilagarh-Sambalpur from both the directions.

Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Special cancelled

08438/08437 Cuttack-Bhadrak-Cuttack Passenger Special to remain cancelled from September 19 to 25 from both the directions in view of non-interlocking work for commissioning of 3rd Line between Kapilas Road to Nergundi in Khurda Road Division.
