Severed Head Of Unidentified Child Found In Odisha’s Jajpur; Police Launch Probe

Jajpur: In a shocking incident, severed head of an unidentified child was found at a village in Odisha’s Jajpur district.

As per preliminary reports, the incident took place at Radha Nagar village of Laxminagar panchayat under Jajpur Road police limits in the district.

The identity of the deceased child is yet to be established.

Sources said some locals initially spotted a dog mauling the severed head at the backyard of a villager’s house on Saturday night. They immediately informed the police.

On being informed, a police team reached the site on Sunday morning and recovered the head. They have started an investigation into the incident. Probe is in progress and efforts are on to ascertain the identify of the deceased.
