Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Thursday issued ‘Quit India’ notice to eight Thai girls who were detained allegedly for operating a high-profile sex racket in Bhubaneswar recently.
Through the notice, the police have directed the detainees to leave the country by 3:30 pm.
The girls hailing from Thailand were rescued from a high-profile sex racket running in guise of a spa at Bapuji Nagar here on May 19. As many as seven persons were arrested from the spot and several objectionable items recovered from the spot during the raid.
The special squad of the Commissionerate Police had also busted a similar prostitution racket at Gajapati Nagar here recently and rescued three girls. In this connection, three youths were taken into custody.
