Bhadrak: Police busted another sex racket in Odisha following a raid on a hotel in Bhadrak town on Saturday.
Following a tip-off that the sex racket was going on in the hotel near the bypass road under Bhadrak Town police limits, the raid was conducted.
The police team led by the IIC arrested six persons involved in the racket during the raid on the hotel. The arrested persons included three sex workers from West Bengal, two customers and the hotel owner, said Bhadrak City DSP.
The police have registered a case and launched investigation to ascertain others involved in the racket.
The DSP said the sex racket was operating from the hotel for the last several months. Further investigation would reveal the entire network of the racketeers, he added.
It may be noted that police busted a sex racket from a house at Patnagarh in Balangir district on Friday. They had arrested two persons and rescued a woman belonging to West Bengal.
