Bhubaneswar: Police busted a sex racket and detained two persons from a hotel at Bharatpur in the city on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from Bharatpur police station conducted a raid on the hotel and rescued eight women, all from West Bengal. Police have also detained two persons including the owner of the hotel. The women will be sent to a short stay home, police sources said.
The police were interrogating the owner of the hotel to ascertain involvement of others in the racket.
