Bhubaneswar: The Commisionerate Police on Monday busted a sex racket running under the garb of a consultancy centre at Satya Vihar under Mancheswar police limits in Odisha capital.
According to police sources, the centre owner, identified as Laxmi Narayan Patnaik, has been arrested. A dealer, however, escaped by jumping off the wall during the raid.
Four girls have also been rescued from the centre.
Job bait was allegedly used to lure the girls to the centre and they were later forced into the flesh trade. One girl, however, managed to flee the centre and registered a complaint at Mancheswar police station. The raid was conducted on the basis of her complaint, the sources added.
