Bhubaneswar: The Mahila Police Station has registered a case against Director of AYUSH (Odisha) Bibhu Prasad Sarangi and begun an investigation following a complaint of sexual harassment by a contractual female employee.
Talking to the media on Monday, the woman said: “AYUSH director Bibhu Prasad Sarangi had been forcing me to get into a physical relationship for a long time and sending me obscene text messages to my mobile phone. In spite of my repeated objections, he again sent me an obscene message with an obscene audio and video on July 3.”
The office of the AYUSH director was found to be closed, and he could not be contacted for a response.
