Shah Rukh Khan Dismisses Outsider Tag, Says Salman & Aamir Are His Family

Mumbai: Bollywood’s superstar trio Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan recently shared the stage at the Joy Forum 2025 in Riyadh, where they spoke about the film industry and their journey to stardom.

When Salman heaped praises on Shah Rukh for being an outsider who made it big in the industry, the latter interrupted him and said he is not an outsider as Salman and Aamir’s family is his family.

Shah Rukh’s heartwarming response won hearts at the event and brought a big smile on Salman and Aamir’s faces, too.

“Aamir comes from a film background, and so do I, but this man here (Shah Rukh Khan) didn’t. He came from Delhi and struggled,” Salman said.

Before he could finish praising Shah Rukh, the latter quipped, “May I interrupt, Salman, sorry. I also come from a film family. Salman’s family is my family, and Aamir’s family is my family. That’s why I’m a star.”

Aamir added, “So now you know how Shah Rukh is a star.”

Salman exuded charm in a blue coat paired with a black shirt and matching trousers, while Shah Rukh and Aamir twinned in black ensembles.

On the work front, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman recently made cameo appearances in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s ‘King’, which also features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhishek Bachchan in key roles.

Aamir was recently seen in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which turned out to be a blockbuster hit.

After ‘Sikandar’, Salman is currently shooting for Apoorva Lakhia’s ‘Battle of Galwan’, also starring Chitrangada Singh.
