Mumbai: Even as Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ is already creating a lot of excitement, reports suggest that a high-octane action scene is being planned for which the director has brought in 10 Russian fighters.
The scene will reportedly be shot at Mumbai’s Golden Tobacco Studios, where a set of an old, abandoned mill has been built.
Shah Rukh is expected to shoot these action sequences for about a week starting March 23.
“It’s one of the most elaborate action stretches planned for the film. The stunts designed are gritty and realistic, and the stunt artistes have been prepping for the past few weeks,” a source was quoted as saying by News18 Showsha.
The report also mentions that in addition to the action scenes, director Siddharth Anand is set to shoot a special dance sequence next month, which could be a standout moment in the film.
“It’s designed as a big moment in the film — visually striking and mounted on a scale that complements the larger-than-life tone of ‘King’,” the source revealed.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, ‘King’ marks Shah’s first on-screen collaboration with his daughter Suhana Khan.
The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Saurabh Shukla, and Raghav Juyal in key roles and will hit theatres on December 24.
