Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the new KKR anthem named ‘Laphao’.
SRK and the KKR team went live on Facebook, on Tuesday, to carry out the unveiling process of the new anthem. Indian musician Badshah has executed the song. It will define KKR’s campaign in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), India Today reported.
“To focus on bringing the best of experiences to the KKR fans this year, amidst social distancing Kolkata Knight Riders coined the new campaign for the team in the lead-up to the Dream11 IPL 2020. The campaign titled Tu Fan Nahi Toofan Hai! is a tribute from all the KKR players to the fans across the globe, the campaign calls out to the fans for their support which is a driving force for team KKR,” a statement on the official KKR website read.
‘Laphao’ means ‘jump’ in Bangla.
