Mumbai: Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has purchased a farm land in Alibaug’s Thal village for Rs 9.5 crore, as per documents accessed by IndexTap.com.
The 23-year-old Suhana, who made her film debut with ‘The Archies’, has reportedly paid a stamp duty of Rs 57 lakh for the land. The purchased land is over a sprawling 78,361 sq ft area.
The transaction was registered on February 13, 2024, documents revealed.
Alibaug, in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, is located around 97 kilometre south of Mumbai.
The picturesque seaside coastal town is favourite of celebrities.
Shah Rukh himself owns a sea-facing property in Thal, which reportedly has a helipad and a swimming pool.
Among others who have bungalows in Alibaug are Navin Agarwal of Vedanta Resources, Gautam Singhania of Raymonds, Prakash Mody of Unichem Labs Ltd, Salil Parekh of Infosys, Sanjay Nayar of KKR, Falguni Nayar of Nyka and equity investor Deven Mehta, Hindustan Times reported.
Connectivity to Alibaug has improved greatly over the last few years. Besides Ro-Ro ferry service and speed boats, the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link sea bridge connecting Sewri to Nhava Sheva has come as a further boost.
