Mumbai: Raees actress Mahira Khan has tested positive for COVID-19.
The actress shared the news on her Instagram handle and asked everyone who came in contact with her in the past few days to get themselves tested.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m isolating and have also informed all those who were in close contact with me over the last few days. It’s been rough but it will be ok soon, Insha Allah. Please please wear a mask and follow all other SOPs – for your sake and others. Love, Mahira Khan,” wrote the actress.
“Prayers and movie recommendations are more than welcome,” she added.
Soon, fans and well-wishers started sending her get well soon wishes.
“Sending you lots of love. Get well soonest xx,” wrote Mouni Roy.
“Sending healing vibes!,” wrote actor Adnan Malik.
“Get well soon,” wrote actor Minal Khan.
Pakistani actress Mahira had made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ in 2017.
Post the Uri attack, the actress couldn’t come to India to promote her film due to the ban on Pakistani artists in Bollywood.
When asked if Indian artists should be banned in Pakistan, she told The News International, “I don’t think that we will solve anything by retaliating, and I think things won’t work by doing tit for tat.”
