Bhubaneswar: Some places in Odisha are likely to experience shallow to moderate fog in the early hours of the morning till 8.30 am on November 9, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Monday.
Till 8.30 am on November 8, shallow to moderate fog is likely at one or two places in Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Angul, Cuttack, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam and Kandhamal. Similar weather conditions may prevail in some parts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, Jagatsingpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Kandhamal in the subsequent 24 hours.
The IMD has forecast dry weather across the state for the next five days when there will be no large change in the maximum and minimum temperature.
Notably, the night temperature plummeted to 10.8 degree Celsius in Similiguda the previous day while G Udayagiri recorded 12.4 degree Celsius followed by Daringbadi (13) and Phulbani (14.5). The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 21.5 degree Celsius each.
