Bhubaneswar: The Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) has announced the winners of Shambhavi Puraskar and Jury Commendation Certification for 2022.
Ratnakar Sahoo of Bhubaneswar has been unanimously selected by the panel of jury members for Shambhavi Puraskar 2022 in the domain of education.
Saho is the founder of ‘ASHAYEN’ which carries out the works of educating street children and rag-pickers, improving their lives by deaddiction, imparting general know-how on life skills, health, hygiene and sensitising slum children on good touch and bad touch.
Social activist Chinmayee Das of Jarapada in Angul district is the winner of the Shambhavi Jury Commendation Certification 2022 for her notable work in the domain of healthcare.
Shambhavi Puraskar carries a citation and cash award of Rs 2,50,000 while Jury Commendation Certification includes a citation and Rs 50,000 cash award.
The two awards will be presented in a function to be organised on the Foundation Day of BIPF on March 14.
BIPF, the CSR arm of IMFA Group, instituted the prestigious Shambhavi Puraskar in 2014 to recognise emerging social catalysts and thereby inspire the citizens to act as agents of change.
