Sharp Decline In COVID-19 Cases In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Capital City witnessed a sharp decline in COVID-19 cases with 329 new positive cases registered in the last 24 hours, against 509 the previous day.

Among new cases, 91 are from quarantine and 238 through local contacts. The total number of cases in Bhubaneswar has now gone up to 84,447.

Patia reported 24 cases, followed by Khandagiri (17), Niladri Vihar (12), Badagada and Laxmisagar (11 each), Chandrasekharpur (9), VSS Nagar and Nayapalli (8 each).

On the other hand, 933 patients have recovered from the disease.

With 79,982 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 4,063 active cases.
