New Delhi: India recorded 1,247 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, a nearly 43 per cent drop from Monday’s 2,183 cases.
Monday’s 2,183 cases marked a 90 per cent increase in new cases and a 165 per cent increase in positivity rate on a single day.
The Centre said that Kerala reported its state-level COVID data after a gap of five days on Monday, which pushed up cases, deaths and positivity rate.
Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal has asked Kerala to “ensure daily updation” of COVID data.
