Shikhar Dhawan & Wife Aesha Mukerji Part Ways!

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his wife Ayesha Mukherjee have reportedly parted ways after eight years of marriage. The duo tied the knot in 2012 and was blessed with a baby boy Zoravar in 2014.

While Dhawan is yet to confirm or speak about it, Aesha, in a lengthy Instagram post wrote that she thought divorce was a ‘dirty word’ until ‘I became a 2-time divorcee’.

A Melbourne based boxer, she has two daughters from her previous marriage.

In another post on Tuesday, she wrote: “There is absolutely nothing wrong with you and sometimes things and people fall away from your life because they no longer align with who you are.”

Dhawan is currently set to play the Indian Premier League 2021 in UAE for Delhi Capitals and eyeing a place in India’s T20 World Cup squad to be announced on Wednesday.

He recently captained India for six white-ball matches in Sri Lanka.
