Shilpa Shetty Trolled For Bringing Ganpati Bappa Home In Husband’s Absence

Mumbai: Bollywood stars have been known to bring home Ganpati Bappa every year on Ganesh Chaturthi. Actor Shilpa Shetty is among the regulars.

But this time, the festival is different for her with husband Raj Kundra in jail in connection with the alleged pornographic films case.

Recently, like every year, Shilpa Shetty also brought home Ganpati Bappa on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The actress has resumed back her work and is slowly getting back to normal.

Raj Kundra was arrested back in July in an a case related to the alleged creation and distribution of pornographic content through mobile apps. He has applied for bail multiple times so far but it has been rejected time and again, with Mumbai Police Crime Branch calling him the ‘key conspirator’.

This year Shilpa was spotted bringing Bappa home alone. Netizens have not taken kindly to it.

 

Though many appreciated her for keeping the tradition on the actress was trolled by many for celebrating the festival while her husband is behind the bars. One netizen wrote on social media, ‘Where is Mr kundra’, another wrote, ‘Pati ko to anedo.’ One penned, ‘ @theshilpashetty galti maaf bhi ki jaa sakti hai….you should take your husband out. I’m with judiciary but @rajkundra9 can be forgotten..mistake itni badi nai hai.’
