New Delhi: Shiv Sena on Thursday vehemently opposed the reported move by Biju Janata Dal (BJD) to get the post of the deputy speaker of Lok Sabha.
Talking to ANI in New Delhi, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said since his party was the second largest ally in the NDA, the post should go either to his party or some other NDA ally.
“Now, speculation is rife in political circles that the post of the deputy speaker will be offered to BJD. How can this be possible as BJD had contested against BJP in the recent Lok Sabha polls in Odisha,” argued Raut.
