‘Shiva Take Me With You’: Divyanka Sirohi’s Old Post Goes Viral After Her Death, Fans Left Heartbroken

New Delhi: Following the untimely death of Haryanvi actor and dancer Divyanka Sirohi at the age of 30, one of her old Instagram posts has resurfaced and gone viral.

The photo, taken at Kedarnath, shows her with head covered in a scarf, standing against a backdrop of mountains. She had captioned it, “POV: Shiva, take me with you…” along with a trident emoji.

Her last post, shared on March 19, featured her in a white-and-blue floral outfit with the devotional track ‘Radhe Radhe’ playing in the background.

Singer B Praak, who is associated with the song, had reacted with clapping, folded hands, and heart emojis.

Since news of her passing, the tone in the comments section has shifted from admiration to grief.

Many fans are now posting messages like ‘RIP’ and ‘Om Shanti’, along with heartbreak emojis, mourning her loss.

“On a serious note: caption got truth now,” commented a fan.

“Ap to sach me dour chle gye mam. (You really left us ma’am) Very very miss you mam,” wrote another.

Divyanka passed away after suddenly falling ill on April 21. Her last rites were held the next day.

Her brother, Himanshu, told Dainik Bhaskar that she suddenly felt unwell, collapsed, and hit her head, causing severe bleeding. She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Mourning her death, All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) posted on X: “We are deeply saddened to share the untimely passing of actress and dancer Divyanka Sirohi at the young age of 30. Gone far too soon, her loss is not just personal to her loved ones, but a profound loss to the entire film fraternity.”

Recognising her contribution to the Haryanvi film industry, it added, “Divyanka had made a significant mark in the Haryana film industry through her dedication, talent, and passion for her craft. Her sudden departure has left the industry in shock and disbelief.”

For the unversed, Divyanka had over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and featured in more than 50 Haryanvi songs.

She gained popularity after a video of hers went viral on ‘Meri Mummy Nu Pasand Ni Tu’ by Sunanda Sharma.
