Bhubaneswar: A shopkeeper was duped of goods worth Rs 80,000 by a man claiming himself to be a doctor in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the man went to a shop selling household gadgets in Chandrasekharpur of the city on Thursday. He identified himself as Dr Bikash to the shopkeeper and told him that he was also involved in social services.
The self-style doctor, who was wearing a gold chain and holding a I-phone, wanted to purchase a television and a water purifier to donate to an NGO working for helping the poor people.
