Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak districts till 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Director of IMD Bhubaneswar HR Biswas attributed it to a feeble cyclonic circulation, which lies over North Coastal Odisha and neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely at one or two places in Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Khurda and Dhenkanal during this period.
However, the shower relief in the sweltering heat will last only for a day with the IMD predicting dry weather in the state for the next six days.
Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack can expect shallow to moderate fog on Thursday.

According to the IMD midday bulletin, there will be no large change in both minimum and maximum temperature during the next 4-5 days. The day temperature is also likely to be 3-4 degree Celsius above normal at several places, it added.
